Am I Eligible?
To qualify for the DWP Warm Homes grant in Liverpool, Merseyside, both the household and property must satisfy defined eligibility criteria. - Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of D to G
- Privately owned (owner-occupied or privately rented)
- The scheme covers all fuel types, including homes on mains gas and off-grid homes using electricity, oil, coal, or LPG.
- Receive means-tested benefits
- Have a gross household income under £36,000
- Suffer with a medical condition aggravated by cold (e.g., asthma, high blood pressure)
- Live in a qualifying postcode (as defined by the grant)
- Properties with an EPC rating in bands A to C.
- New build or self-build homes that have not been previously occupied.
- Social housing (except for in-fill purposes, with specific conditions).
- Park homes that are not the permanent residence of the household or are expected to be demolished before the measure guarantee period ends.
